Team Principle - Ian Woodcock

Known throughout the paddock as Woody, Ian has been involved with racing since 1977.  Achievements during 12 years of kart racing include finishing 2nd twice in the British Short Circuit Championship and winning the Hesketh challenge - a major 10 round series.

Team Manager - John Sidebottom

Former Formula Ford driver, John has been involved in motorsport for many years.  A long association with Radical's has included time spent as the Championship co-ordinator.

Team Advisor - Roger Mayers

Associated with RSR from the beginning, Roger was one of the first to spot the potential of the Radical design, encouraging Woody to go and have a look at the new cars at one of the early races.  A former karter, with much experience of Radicals, Roger is currently racing in National Supersports with a 1500cc Prosport.  His  home workshop has also turned out much of the RSR pit equipment.

Chief Mechanics - Ian Morris, Martin Pluck and Tim Shaw

Originally a part-time mechanic for RSR, Ian (right) was headhunted by the Radical Works Team at the start of the 2002 season.  By mid-season Ian was back at RSR - no doubt lured back with promises of vast riches and some fast talking by Woody.

Martin (left), another former kart racer and twice winner of the British Kart Grand Prix, has been involved with RSR from the beginning.  Now enjoying life as a semi-retired gentleman farmer and living in North Wales, Martin has a particular interest in vintage farm machinery.

Tim joined RSR for the start of the 2003 season.  With a nice roll cab full of unbroken, clean tools (including 4mm allen keys) he will certainly prove a valuable asset - at least until Woody looses them all.

Data Engineer - Tim Mullis

RSR was one of Race Data Solutions first customers when Tim set up the company in 2001.  Now in its third season, offering data logging technical support and data logging systems to motorsport teams, RSR remains a valued customer.  With experience of all levels of motorsport from karting to F1 cars, visit the Race Data Solutions website for more information.

Mechanics: Royce Payne, Dave Silver, Jim McCreadie

Running a large number of cars means relying on a number of part-time, 'weekend warrior' mechanics.  RSR is lucky to be able to draw on the talents of a group of experienced and professional guys, without who the job wouldn't get done.  Even with full time jobs or their own businesses to run these mechanics still find time to give up their weekends to go racing.

Chief Bodywork Lustre Technician - Claude Woodcock

Special mention must go to one of the happiest individuals involved with RSR.  Armed only with a smile, bottle of polish and a rag 'Father' Woodcock is responsible for the polishing of bodywork.

Behind the scene at RSR - Katie Bentley

Responsible for the best and worse at RSR - the payment cheques and the invoices, Katie also manages to keep Woody half organised.  Other thankless tasks like booking testing and keeping the books in order fall to Katie too.
